Yi Jiang

Prof. Yi Jiang is the Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. He is a full professor at School of Architecture, Tsinghua University, and serves as the director of the Building Energy Research Center (Ministry of Education). Prof. Jiang’s research focuses on building energy conservation. He is the member of the Energy Advisory Experts Committee of the State Council, member of the National Climate Change Experts Committee, member of the Science and Technology Committee of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, Science and Technology Advisor of the Beijing Municipal Government, Chairman of the Chinese Association of Refrigeration, and the Executive Committee Member of the IEA (International Energy Agency)- EBC (Energy in Buildings and Communities Programme).

Prof. Jiang presides over the Annual Report on China Building Energy Efficiency and the annual Academic Week of building energy efficiency. He systematically proposes the path and related policy mechanisms to achieve carbon neutrality in China.

Prof. Jiang has received the National Award for Technological Invention twice, the National Award for Science and Technology Progress twice, and multiple provincial or municipal awards on science and technology.
